Laura Bronwen Dicus is an artist residing in Lower Gwynedd, PA. Laura began painting at an early age, and turned her passion of the human figure and life drawing into a degree in fashion design from Philadelphia University.

Laura put down her paint brush to establish her career as an analyst and then became busy with her little boys. When her boys hit the hockey rink she was inspired to pick up her paint brush and capture the moment. Her walls are full of paintings of her boys, and now she has time to capture a special moment for you too.

Laura focuses on values while painting and creates her bold, colorful acrylic paintings from black and white references. Before beginning each painting, she studies the reference photo in black and white and chooses a color palette that speaks from the emotion of the image. Laura’s paintings use light and color to tell a story that viewers can relate to.
